Football help & save recovery

You run the front office: build the roster, manage the salary cap, hire staff, and guide your team through the season.

Your first season

  1. Open Football, choose a team and a starting mode, and create your franchise preview.
  2. Read the next decision on your home screen. Review your roster, cap room, and the consequences before committing a move.
  3. Sign in when asked to protect your franchise and save decisions. After each move, follow the next task or advance when you are ready.

How to read scouting grades

A prospect’s grade is your scouts’ estimate. Read the current range, ceiling range and confidence together. Scouting costs the points shown on the action and can change the report. A narrow range means greater confidence, not a guaranteed outcome.

How salary-cap room works

Cap room is the spending limit minus the charges counted in this phase, including dead money. Offseason top-51 room can look healthier than the full-roster outlook. Review each year of a deal: guarantees and bonus proration can leave a cost after a player departs.

What to do before advancing

The Hub lists the next decisions and any blockers. Review expiring rights, live offers and roster requirements before advancing. Advancing can close a window or let other clubs act; read the consequence shown beside the action.

Keep your franchise safe

Sign in with your email and password to connect your franchise to your account. Use that same account on another device to find it in your saved leagues.

A guest preview is not a protected account save. Keep the original browser available until you have signed in and can see the franchise in your account. An unfinished decision remains in the browser where you started it.

Inside a franchise, More → Saves & settings shows your account and recovery points, plus a spare recovery code when available. Keep recovery codes private: they can grant access to a save.

I cannot find my league

  1. Check that you are in Football and signed in with the email you originally used. Baseball keeps separate leagues.
  2. If you played as a guest, return to the original browser and device. Sign in there to protect that franchise.
  3. If you have a recovery code, open Football and use its save-code recovery form.
  4. If you archived the franchise, check the archived saves in your library and use Restore.

Do not clear browser storage while looking for a guest save or an unfinished decision.

I used to play on Draftanomics

Football here uses the same account and saved-league service. Sign in with your existing Draftanomics account to find your franchises.

For an old guest save, open the recovery library on Draftanomics in the browser where you played. Protect the save there, then return here with the same account. Switching sites does not delete your saved progress.

Sign-in or verification is stuck

Use the password-reset option on the account page if you forgot your password. Check spam for verification or recovery mail, and use the latest link you requested. If a link has expired, request a new one.

If the account page says recovery email is unavailable, existing accounts can still try password sign-in. Keep your original browser open and retry email recovery when the service is available.

If a move fails or a save changed elsewhere, reload the latest franchise and check whether the move was recorded before repeating it.
